Looking for a room with a private onsen in Izu? Onsenyado Nonbiri is a whole-house onsen villa that takes only one group per day. The open-air bath, the indoor bath and the entire 140㎡ house are for you and your group alone – no other guests, no shared baths.
An open-air onsen with a view
Our hot spring water is piped from a natural spring about 300 m away. It goes into the bath as it is – not heated and not diluted with water – and it is never recirculated or filtered for reuse. From the open-air bath you can watch the mountains and the valley change with the seasons, and at night you can soak under a sky full of stars.
"On the hillside overlooking the valley below, with a beautiful sunrise view over the mountains in the morning. A relaxed morning coffee at the onsen while enjoying the sunrise and valley view – highly recommend!" (a guest review)
Both the open-air bath and the indoor bath are open 24 hours. Soak late at night under the stars, or first thing in the morning as the sun comes up – as often as you like. On rainy or cold days, the indoor bath is there too.

For couples, families and groups
The house sleeps from 2 up to 10 guests. There are 3 bedrooms: a 6-tatami room on the 1st floor (3 futons), and 6-tatami and 8-tatami rooms on the 2nd floor (3 and 4 futons). Even when there are only two of you, the whole house is yours.
Travelling with children? There is a kids' playroom with toys and books, and children's chairs.
No set meal times
Meals are not provided, so you are free to eat whenever you like. The kitchen has a rice cooker, microwave, toaster, smokeless grill, tableware and cooking utensils. Upstairs, a bar counter with a mini kitchen and a view is the perfect spot for a drink after your bath.

The nearest convenience store is about a 5-minute drive away. We are happy to share information on nearby restaurants – just ask.
